Along with the University of Catania and Bologna, the physics and astronomy’s departments of Catania “E.Majorana”, the Catania’s division INFN and the Sicilian centre of Nuclear Physics and Structure of Matter (CSFNSM). We are at Portopalo of Capo Passero for the fifteenth edition’s organisation of the Workshop of the European Collaboration in Higher Education on Radiological and Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Protection (CHERNE 2019).
The main workshop’s goal is the sharing of experiences and the co-operation between teachers and students attending European institutions. This aim is necessary for the development and the research in the fields of Applied Nuclear Physics, Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Protection.
