Catania celebrates the value of research with the European Researchers’ Night and a program that ranges from the frontier themes of basic research to technological applications in the most diverse fields.
Interdisciplinarity and challenges for the future were the leitmotif of the program.
Coordinated by the National Laboratories of the South of INFN in a joint effort with the University of Catania in collaboration with all the main research institutions of the city and with the associations and cultural realities of the area. On 27 September 2019 the center of Catania and the city’s research laboratories, historic sites and spaces of daily life hosted workshops, shows, talks and activities designed and created for audiences of all ages.
